This novel represents the peak of martial arts storytelling—at least in this particular 'picking up attributes' genre. Its 'world-building' and 'power system' are truly on another level. I have read it about five years ago, but I still remember it now and will probably continue to do so for a very long time. I know it’s not a very emotionally deep novel and may feel like “fast food” to new readers, but for me, nostalgia makes it hit differently. Honestly it's one of my all time favourites.

The author crafts a vast and dynamic universe filled with detailed cultivation paths, elemental systems, and interplanetary settings that feel both grand and coherent. It stands as a true classic in the genre and is widely regarded as the first to introduce the “picking up skills and attributes” concept— a trope that has since inspired countless imitators and has since become a staple across countless similar works. But even today, few novels manage to capture the same balance of creativity, humor, and high-stakes action that this one does. That said, the later parts may feel a bit slow, but there’s no doubt it’s a masterpiece.

About this book.

It is a nice one.

Edit: Too much racism

MC of the novel is Chen Xuan.

Pros :

•System can improve aptitude,comprehension,memory.

•MC is low-key.

Cons :

•Chapters are too short.

•MC does not inquire about health preserving exercise to maximise his utilization of his cheat.

•MC does not mastered aura concealing methods.

•Like all low-key novels MC is low key but his cultvation is exposed by others which ruins the fun.In this case this event happens on chapter 61.

•System can't limit-break( progressing beyond perfection ) the martial dao skills and martial dao techniques MC practices which will add dependency and will make MC takings risks to obtain higher grade techniques which is worst for novels like this have MC having growth system.

Conclusion : Trash novel.

So far, the novel is decent, though it does have a few noticeable plot holes—like why Naruto is shown completely alone. In canon, he was usually under ANBU surveillance, so how did no one notice the chaos his parents caused? How did he explain his parents about knowing karin situation?Small details like that can break immersion.

I also wish the MC showed more emotion; it would help readers connect to him better. Emotional depth is what truly bonds readers to a character, and right now, the interactions between characters feel a bit stiff. The author should work more on natural dialogue and emotional flow. The world-building and power system are fine as long as they stay close to the original with only minor tweaks. Also, there are quite watery explanation which lowerd the fanfic quality. Not only that an adult mind falling for 3 year old is disturbing. Unnecessary hate for sakura from auhtor is also not right.

As for the harem aspect, there seem to be three main candidates so far: Hinata, who is openly pursued by the MC; Karin, who clearly has a crush on him; and Shion, the priestess—though that one’s more of an intuition for now or maybe yakimo. There might be others later, but I’m fairly certain it won’t include the main cast girls like Ino, kurenai, Tenten, or Temari. The author might seems to prefer including heroines from the movies or side stories instead, not from the main canon.

Though recent chapters 50s aren't my liking, this isn't for me.

Extra: This isn’t aimed specifically at this Naruto fanfic, but rather at most Naruto fanfics I’ve read. I find it odd that so many main characters want to “change the world” by becoming its enemy. I just can’t relate to that mindset. If I were in their place, I’d build power from the shadows while outwardly staying loyal to Konoha. Then, during the Fourth Ninja War, I’d secretly weaken the other villages and later unify them—becoming a hero, not a villain. No backlash, no unnecessary conflict. I actually got that idea from another one of my fav Naruto fanfic.

This novel is good for the wizard genre, me as a veteran reader in the wizard genre can make me say that this novel is worthy and not low, Also, just ignore people who make bad comments without proof, why can I say this novel is good for a witch novel class,Because I have read other good wizard novels that can be called masterpieces or worthy, among others are Mage Adam, Ntherill Brilliance, Warlock in the magus World (not finished/almost finished), I did scientific research in the wizarding world, weird wizarding world, I did a task in the wizarding world (very good novel but unfortunately the author didn't continue), superdimension wizard (good novel but the story is slow but the quality is guaranteed) and there are many more, Okay, back to the topic, this novel has the same characteristics as the good novels above, whether in terms of plot or characters, the MC's character is realistic, cruel when necessary, relaxed when he can think of a way to solve the problem, There are also some touching words in the book, such as loneliness, meaninglessness, and sadness, is there any romance?
