About this book.

It is a nice one.

Edit: Too much racism

It's one of my all time favourite novel.Here the plot, world building, power system, character design of mc everything is very good. Specially the world building and power system is beyond perfection. The system can basically do everything you can imagine which gives mc the power to literally do anything and everything as long as he has sufficient number of souls. In this type of situation, it's very easy for a novel to go astray if mc can't make reasonable choices because there are infinite possibilities in choosing skills. And the author has to make reasonable skills/abilities while maintaining the power level and number of souls ,which is very difficult. Here the author handed the situation very well. And the world building is just awesome with so many different settings. It's no doubt a master piece.

This novel represents the peak of martial arts storytelling—at least in this particular 'picking up attributes' genre. Its 'world-building' and 'power system' are truly on another level. I have read it about five years ago, but I still remember it now and will probably continue to do so for a very long time. I know it’s not a very emotionally deep novel and may feel like “fast food” to new readers, but for me, nostalgia makes it hit differently. Honestly it's one of my all time favourites.

The author crafts a vast and dynamic universe filled with detailed cultivation paths, elemental systems, and interplanetary settings that feel both grand and coherent. It stands as a true classic in the genre and is widely regarded as the first to introduce the “picking up skills and attributes” concept— a trope that has since inspired countless imitators and has since become a staple across countless similar works. But even today, few novels manage to capture the same balance of creativity, humor, and high-stakes action that this one does. That said, the later parts may feel a bit slow, but there’s no doubt it’s a masterpiece.

It's not bad, but there are two things that bother me, one of which is Bell. Since I usually read harem series in Danmachi, the character Bell bothers me, but apart from that, Seele bothers me. I don't mind accepting her as the first family member, but later, when Hephaestus and Hestie want to join the family, Seele doesn't want it and argues with them about it, and MC explains to Seele that she only took Hephaestus for her family's power, etc. Who is Seele, that MC is explaining to her? Their relationship is like a relationship between a god and his dependent; Seele can't object to MC taking others, even gods, as family, and she shouldn't.

In the original story the Tang Sect was destroyed, and now even as a God’s Inheritor the Tang Sect is still destroyed, even though his sister Tang Ya has the potential to become the Dark Blue Silver Empress if properly trained, there was a major opportunity to save Huo Yun’er and turn the Son of Luck and a future god into allies, yet nothing has changed from the original plot. So what was the point of you transmigrating?

Good concept, but author seems to have misunderstanding or prejudice against Magic system for some reason, so would like to clarify what magic is, and how it actually works in theory.

First, magic isn't energy, it quite similar to how science and technology works, it is inferred through specific means, which affects reality and world structures, thereby achieving complicated 'spells' which is constructed of circuits similar to to technological means, alchemy does this too, including other methods that exists in history which is interesting.

Current human's are quite backwards in few aspects of thinking if, one observes carefully, reason most if not all, especially/specially author's always uses energies as a source which is wrong, all energies are but just after effects or side-effects in collisions or different and complicated things, while previous ones in history mostly uses metaphysical concepts as core, including laws of physics, idealistic concepts, and others, but they do not focus just on, "got this energy, now character overpowered", or "that energy is omnipotent" which is wrong too, energies are all information, everything made up of information in universe including higher structures, technology and magic are same but different path, one individual can overpower an civilizations if advanced enough, but technologies are more on a group or civilizations, energies only distort frameworks in creations, sure it (technology) can create, modify, or destroy but it is only shallow layer in reality, only things above it can produce deeper products, and magic isn't just distorting but modifies on deeper layers, directly skipping processes between it.

Also Divinity, isn't energy too, it is concepts, and higher forms.

Novel scenario: just good, it is enough to be above average.

Power system: protagonist itself is system, powers are between lower and higher.

Protagonist character and personality: System.

Novel: +2.7-+2.9 (possible+3).
