When he wakes up, he immediately finds Muzan and beats him up. Shortly after, two weak Demon Slayers find them and attack, but they are killed. After eating them, he falls into another deep sleep and turns into a flesh ball.
He wakes up again about 500 years later, during Muzan’s battle with Yoriichi. He goes there, saves Muzan, and stalemates Yoriichi in battle until sunrise, forcing them to run away.
Later, in a safe house, he explodes and dies. He needs one of Muzan’s hearts to come back to life, and because of this, he is reborn in the form of a child, heavily nerfed.
