Dr. Dalton Wyatt, a renowned scientist and inventor, is reincarnated into the body of a high school student named Dalton Wyatt. Due to unfortunate circumstances and a complicated life, Dalton Wyatt chooses suicide. The new world is completely different from Earth, yet similar in some ways. Unlike the peaceful Earth, humanity in this new world fights monsters and struggles for survival. Mortals are no match for these mythical and legendary creatures; some blessed humans can actively control their souls, manifesting soul power and becoming Card Apprentices, fighting for humanity's chance at survival. Card Apprentices are those who make contracts with grimoires and use various powerful and useful cards to fight monsters and conquer dungeons. Grimoires grant Card Apprentices the ability to create and fuse cards, and most importantly, allow them to unleash their full potential in card duels. Although this world has scientific concepts, it doesn't focus on electronics and industrialization like on Earth. Here, cards are used for everything, eliminating the need for electronic devices. This new world highly values grimoire abilities, card creation, and card fusion. Arriving in a world where money truly buys power, Dr. Dalton must earn a living. Fortunately, thanks to his information and knowledge from another world, card creation is much easier for him than for other card apprentices. Dr. Dalton creates and sells various perfect, powerful, and useful cards, gradually becoming stronger in this monster-filled world in order to survive.
