I breathed a sigh of relief the day the world was engulfed in a terrifying live-streamed game from which there was no way to escape.

As a failed horror novelist, each of these instances comes from one of my unfinished works.

While the other players were being chased by the female ghost, I walked straight to the ancient well and recited the incantation I had written.

The female ghost in the mirror froze abruptly, her bloody tears instantly ceasing, and she asked me, trembling:

"Author, could you... please finish filling in the plot holes first?"
