The Fiery Era: Starting As a Truck Driver

In the 21st century, Jiang Cheng, a veteran Didi driver, nearly hit someone due to his own negligence. His emergency swerve caused the car to overturn, transporting him to 1972.

Jiang Cheng joined the army in 1972 at the age of eighteen and became a military driver. He applied for discharge due to family circumstances.

People from rural areas who join the army don't get job assignments after discharge. However, because of his outstanding performance in the army and his driving skills, which are in high demand, the army gave Jiang Cheng a letter of introduction to return to his city and become a car driver.
