Impressionist Gods

Mona, possessing a magical canvas, became the deity of an island tribe. He could use various drawing tools on the canvas to graffiti the world, bestowing blessings and divine punishment upon civilization. The paintbrush imbued what it painted with divinity, the palette could capture the impressions of all things, abstracting them into conceptual blocks of color. The eraser could easily erase everything, punishing civilization. On the first day, the merciful god painted a giant tree, sheltering the tribe from the wind and rain, and the people all sang praises of His majesty. On the second day, the majestic god used the eraser to wipe away the heads of the tribe's sinners, and the people all prostrated themselves in fear, learning reverence.
