When the Mirror Sphere—the reflection of the world humans usually live in—was wreaking havoc across the universes, the Jewel King dragged Paracelsus off the Throne of Heroes and shoved him into the multiverse, which was suffering at the hands of Heroic Spirits.
Superman/Batman/Captain America/Iron Man/Green Lantern: "You're here to save our universe, right?"
Paracelsus smiled without saying a word.
The superheroes: "Right...right?"
Paracelsus, the great magician of Averageone, a man of kind nature, rationality, composure, and aversion to fighting—a progenitor of modern alchemy and a once-in-a-millennium talent—shaked his head.
"Save what?"
"The Earth is about to be wiped out! Everyone will die!"
They all must die!
Paracelsus closed his eyes with a sense of peace, knowing that he had died peacefully in 1541.
