In 1460, seven years after Constantinople fell to the Ottoman conquerors riding dragons, Leo, the only son of Constantine XI and a Roman prince exiled to the land of vampires, finally resolved to rebel against the officials who levied blood taxes. From a mercenary to a vassal of the Holy Roman Empire, from a hero of the Teutonic Crusades to being proclaimed the new Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, Leo embarked on his eastward campaign to reclaim his homeland.
