The bizarre entities are categorized as "Wraith-level," "Aberration-level," "Lord-level," and "Calamity-level," possessing abilities including mental interference, physical distortion, and spatial warping. They require Taoist sequential spells or special supernatural powers to counter.

The male protagonist, Ye Fan, was a food deliveryman in his previous life. After being reborn in a parallel world, he awakened the "Taoist Sequence" (first-level talisman drawing, second-level incantation chanting, third-level stepping the Big Dipper, and the highest level divine control) and the "storage space" (initially 100 cubic meters, which expands as the Taoist Sequence upgrades, and can hold living things). He appears easygoing on the surface, but is actually cunning and ruthless, and is good at playing dumb to take advantage of others.
