In mid-19th century America, under the Manifest Mandate of Heaven, an unprecedented global superpower was taking shape within the United States. Humanity's hopes swelled with each passing year, and no nation in history had ever been so prosperous. Everything unfolded as if it were a pre-written script.

Beside the endless cotton fields of Texas, a stoic young man leisurely pushed an old man for a stroll. The two seemed oblivious to the busy work in the fields. Old Sheffield weakly raised his hand to stop the young man. "It seems the Yankees are planning to abolish slavery?"

Sheffield gave a cold smile, glanced at the black slaves in the middle of the cotton field, and said dismissively, "Nothing will happen, Father! Trying to steal our slaves won't be that easy..."
