The protagonist, Ye Junlin, operates behind the scenes, manipulating the development of his forces through a hierarchy of [One Lord, Two Gods, Three Emperors, Four Venerables, Five Imperial Rulers, Six Absolutes, Seven Stars, Eight Guardians, Nine Commanders, and Ten Inspectors]. The story showcases a rise to power and a dramatic reversal of fortune, ultimately resulting in his strength and influence overwhelming all other realms.

Yongye Tian was the mastermind, and later he established a subordinate assassin force called "Xiyu Lou".
