Started quite good but in chapter 23 the MC happens to carry an item on his person which most likely will start a "he dared to xy"-plot ... He even erased all traces from the event he obtained it from - so why would he wear it openly? Forced development at its finest... Even before he is raised to be low key in all aspects, but flaunts his wealth on every occasion just to get a constant flow of "greedy daoists" on his toes... Will continue to read but this was quite the bummer...
