At the end of the story when the MC is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. Everyone: He's just a commoner with ordinary talent. He's so weak, he has no future. That's basically it, no matter how strong he is, who he defeats or what he accomplishes he will always be underestimated. There's no face slapping in this because that would actually require people to recognize that MC won in any way.
