This novel is quite good but I rated it 2 stars because it could've been better. A similar novel I once read was ten times more better than this. Overall, if you have nothing to read then go ahead and turn off your brain as you read. Good luck and happy reading!

This novel is okay but I don't like how it was written, it feels like I'm reading an autobiography. It's too descriptive that makes it no different from fillers, it was kinda boring and makes me want to fall asleep instead. The main character is miserable, even worse than a dog's life no matter how evil he is. This novel doesn't seem to be the typical of blood sacrificing people, etc. This novel is more like a miserable human—a dying dog, scheming trying to live a 'good' life by climbing upwards. What's even more ridiculous is that his misery seems to be what the author was trying to show, compared to him being a total 'evil' cultivator. Of course, probably it's because I'm still at 30 chapters. Nonetheless, I think it's a total dog shit. People feared the MC but there wasn't much of description about why, just mentioning some of what he did in one or two chapters. Just base on this, I feel like the MC would still be miserable as fuck the higher he climbs.
