This fanfiction is quite interesting! The author brought the idea that Naruto's world is technologically advanced with fields of science and technology almost being on par with our world! (Its jarring, truthfully). I like the protagonist! Being the mastermind, overcoming obstacles through manipulation, wit, and acting is awesome! Then, chapter 74 happened… Spoiler alert for chapter 74: The author went on to spit some unprompted bullcrap! To quote: ❝However, neither Maki nor the ninjas of Sunagakure knew that climate change itself was a branch of metaphysics. The greenhouse effect has been propagated for decades in the real world, but how much impact has it truly caused? In fact, looking at the temperature change timeline, the temperature in the real world is still relatively cold compared to thousands of years ago. At least the temperatures during the Qin and Han dynasties, and the Tang and Song dynasties, were much higher than now.❞ Author… Are you nuts?! Climate change, a proven scientific phenomenon is metaphysics?! Just because the greenhouse gas effect doesn't impact you directly in a noticeable way does not equate to it not existing!!! I've researched a bit about the "proof". Yes, temperature during the Ha, Qing, Tang, and Song dynasty was higher! But, to base your argument on the fallacious idea that the temperature of the present being colder is equivalent to "global warming doesn't exist" because the temperature in the past is higher is foolish! From my research (correct me if i'm wrong) the temperature was affected by climate fluctuations during that era which had multitudes of factors! From AI: “Climate fluctuations during the Qin and Han dynasties were primarily caused by shifts in the East Asian monsoon system and variations in solar insolation” Then the author insinuated that the scientists exaggerated the impact to "receive more funding" which is idiotic for reasons I'm sure you could infer!
