Conflicts between realms are often between invading and being invaded.

In the wizarding realm, wizards are exalted and feared by the world, and they hold tight to the realm’s battle lines, incarnating as guardians. More often than not, they incarnate as evil foreign demons, invading other realms, becoming reapers and feared by the living.
