Ostia, the planet's only and largest landmass, is a land of both danger and opportunity. However, the once peaceful life was transformed by the appearance of monsters from the north. These monsters posed a grave threat to all races: humans, dwarves, and elves, all were slaughtered and abused by these monsters. They took great pleasure in abusing their flesh and plundering their property. Some monsters even considered other races food. Thus, war began. The human, dwarven, and elven kingdoms bordering the north signed a non-aggression pact, each building seven fortresses on the border to resist the monsters' invasion. These fortresses became known as the Seven Shield Fortresses! They served as the strongest shield against the monsters! The long war raged for a thousand years, and despite all the slaughter, the monsters' numbers remained undiminished. Forced into desperation, the human kingdom revived a millennium-old law, allowing the emergence of pioneer knights! This story begins in Shivaash, a territory of pioneering knights.
