本文是发生在平行世界的《数码宝贝大冒险》与《数码宝贝大冒险02》，也就是第一部和第二部的故事，虽然和2020年的《数码宝贝大冒险：》重启类似，也就是故事背景发生在202X年代的近未来而主角们的年龄却都还是原作中的小学生年龄，但是本文并不接续大冒号世界观，是完全原创的世界观！
三年前，八位被选召的孩子拯救了这个世界与灭亡的危机之中，而三年后，伴随着八神太一和石田大和的失踪，以及新的被选召的孩子的出现，更大更可怕的阴谋也开始渐渐浮现……
