A sudden disaster swept the world, and animals and plants died and mutated on a large scale. Food was in short supply, strange beasts were rampant, order was in chaos, and humans were on the verge of extinction. Those few high-ranking officials controlled the distribution of food, and the lower-level humans became slaves and machines for food. Human nature and the law of darkness were everywhere.
