Good story. Not a masterpiece but fun to read.
But the translation of 99% of terms is horribly bad.
A wester fantasy, but everything is using eastern terms, including people names! Everything. Everything uses cultivation terms!
I have to click every term, waste time guessing what it is, put my own names. Names even are switched, its annoying af.
Bloody Mandala... What the hell is that? Until I read and analyzed the story... It's a Mandrake!! Li su, xu er, ni san, what the fuck are those names? I have to play guess with google and infer western names to change to like Eric, Sean, Rose, etc.
Wish the Author put in some effort properly giving westerm names to a fucking western magic story!!! Other such stories shows that they can be correctly translated.
An extra nitpick, all spell names are just 1 to 1 (Straight up copy paste) from Dungeons n Dragons. It is fine, but could have been slightly changed.
A viscounty? Call it a province!
A county? Call it a province!
A marquis? Also a province!
A duchy? Hmm... Province this time... Principality another time...
A nation or a grane duchy or an empire? Principality too!
Who needs names!
Lastly, the characters are boring, acting like robots, especially the MC. 0 friends, barely any emotions to his family... A wizard is still a human... Interacted with others and part of a sane organization, yet after every major event, they just part ways, not a single word... Where's the spice?
It's all just... Mc cultivating, event occurs, everyone fighting, mc shows off super power, reap everything, leaves.
The more I read, the more I lose interest... What a disappointment. Author just wanting to milk fans of this genre yet unwilling to even properly write it
Indeed, bewarned this is not a wizard story. There is 0 research or pursuit of the so-called truth, it's just literally a cultivation novel with a wizarding skin... People just sits cross legged, "comprehending" for hundreds of years, few break through... Schools like alchemy, puppets, etc. Are just flavor.

-1 for nationalism/racism. Goblins speak a "certain" language, and then they're described as dirty and horrible. The MC named his main dungeon and alliance as Great Xia. But if you can look past it, it's decent.
Decent read, like a 3.5 / 5 . The world setting is somewhat interesting, but the main premise is the people reaction to the different dungeons (games) the MC recreates from real life

Great book, the only minus for me is that he overly describes some plots of the game which i get is cool but when you know them it gets kinda annoying but you can always skip a chapter or two. So the biggest minus is the lack of chapters.

This novel is objectively terrible. Also very repetitive.
But you pretty much know exactly what you're getting into with the title and the fact it's 4000 chapters.
Anyway, I'm callin it at ~1100 chapters cause he returned to an old realm and EVEN STRONGER PEOPLE ARE WAKING UP. Just send him somewhere else smh.
Anyway, fun enough novel if you don't like it in the first 30 chapters you won't like it.
