Notice how most of those who gave low stars didn't even finish 50 chapters...

All notes aside, this is one of the best cultivation novels I have ever read. VERY underrated and the MC is likeable too. Despite being cautious, he still retains his emotions and acts like an actual human being. And don't worry, he remains cautious no matter how strong he gets.

And the sect he joined is one of the best I have ever seen with everyone getting along in harmony. No random arrogant elder. No random young master or anything. From the sect master down to the normal disciples, they all get along very well.

Also, chapter 425 is peak. No spoilers tho.

Honestly, it’s not a bad novel. However, it strongly clashes with my personal taste and triggers a lot of my insecurities. Because of that, I’d like to warn readers who might feel the same way (no offense to those who enjoyed it).

There is a heavy focus on promiscuity. Almost every potential heroine is a dual cultivator—and if you know what that implies, you’ll understand the issue. They are neither virgins nor emotionally exclusive, often with very high body counts. The MC himself is similar in this regard.

Promiscuity, open-style relationships, and casual dual cultivation are simply not for me, so I couldn’t enjoy the story despite its other merits.

Also, karma is a thing in Cultivation, there is a reason why promiscuity is regarded as unorthodox method.

This novel isn't actually too bad, but there are just much better CN romcoms out there (check replies) 2.5/5 The rest of the review will be below

To start off, the concept is fun, and the side characters are all pretty interesting and fun to read about, which is actually one of the main problems, since I would much rather read about literally any other romance than the romance between the MC/FL

The MC and FL are the weakest parts of the novel imo, making it much harder to read than it had to be. Not mentioning the author had the gall to complain about low ratings when he dragged out the MC/FL romance for over 150 chapters with literally zero progress, while all the side characters got much more interesting and well-written romances, that are either much sweeter than the MC/FL, or have a much more interesting hook about how the couple's romance works than the MC/FL.

To start off with the characters, the MC is a typical CN MC, who has very inconsistent characterization from how he was described at the start, to how he actually acts on a normal basis. While the FL, is described as a 'gentle' person unlike her aloof mother, when in reality she is a willful brat who causes small arguments all the time and is innocent/pure to an absurd degree.

The MC and FL only get together after 150 chapters, when the FL gets angry at the MC for almost no discernible reason and refuses to talk to him for a day, all while the FL's brother and everyone assumes the MC messed up and ruined their relationship, this farce argument was then swept under the rug by the author because almost the very next chapter, they stop arguing and get together as officially dating. But you can very easily tell the author didn't actually plan this, because in the chapter notes you can see him mention how he is sad about the low ratings and how he was pressured by readers to actually make the MC and FL have progress in their relationship.

Overall, I can't be bothered to read past the start of their relationship because of how infuriating it is.

I hate this novel, from the beginning i read it i understand that if the plot doesn't let the protagonist hurr once this novel will completely destroyed, that's why i hate this novel, the MC is stupid, why i say he is stupid ? Because the template of the MC is an asahi protagonist, look at what the MC do since beginning, he Follow kasugamioka and eriri like a bitch, he doesn't even have his own standard, and suddenly he agreed to create the group to kato megumi, the author force the plot to hurt the MC, i don't why the author was a kind of bastard that think every people have M tendency, i hate a writer that make his MC a play of game or amusment, if you want to write a novel, let your MC life his full, don't force the plot, you can add reason or you can let the situation force the MC to do something he doesn't like, but to force a major plot without logic is like saying we reader just a stupid animal that only need to read what you give us, this is why i hate every novel that force the MC without logic

Very good. Someone request a source change for this to get the last few TLed please! One of my first reborn harem novels and this was a good entry. MC and the heroines are reborn but dont know that the other is reborn and instead of the MC being all "now I want them all" and heroines being "he is the only one for me" there are more nuances and that leads to interesting interactions between the cast which is the meat of this book. Recommended if you are looking for reborn harem.

Chinglish wtf, if we're using red alert, you should be able to summon people/create war robots. What is with this handicap crap. The barracks might be the most useless thing in this book, can't convert - can't summon - can't even create.

The allies/soviets/chinese and sub groups, if this is all the technology they got , it's disappointing.

Where is the research center?

The book focuses far too much on slavery instead of developing its core concept and the protagonist’s kingdom-building arc. As a result, several essential game mechanics inspired by Red Alert, such as the barracks and research center, are either removed or ignored entirely.

The author himself jokes that this is not the dual cultivation system, but actually the chastity cultivation system. So you can probably guess what kind of garbage system this author cooked up. It's absolutely shit.
