Also mc accepted sponsorship contract of 5 magic stones a month from a failing wizard family (future troubles) and they acted like they were doing mc a favor so mc owes 2 favors (1 personal and 1 for life) for that.

Any person with a brain would have offered MC way more resources since he topped the class.

Mc's wizard school is also garbage tier and trouble.

Update: MC getting targeted 24/7 and his "allies" are useless and not helping because they want to "test" him. Total BS excuse since no person without a system can advance under such ridiculous suppression.

This novel is so disgusting. Just let the family who want to cut off support just break off the contract since the MC can sell potions now anyway. Instead the MC decides to show off and stroke his own ego.

I will continue reading this when it updates because I still think it has potential, however I have my gripes with it. The text below is my review after 25 or so chapters but I’ll still stick with it now that I’m caught up to 71 chapters. MC seems to have some interesting plans at least.

Why does every one of these types of novels have to have the dao and qi and cultivation??? This is hsr (where the worldview revolves around imaginary energy and paths) and if he was from the Xianzhou I could accept it and see it as valid but this guy’s name is Hermes and he’s a Genius Society member.

I’m not asking for the author to come up with nobel prize level theories or even use sci fi stuff, I just wish they wouldn’t throw off the entire worldview that’s in place by forcefully inserting stuff that contradicts the supposedly logical genius the MC is supposed to be. It’s an actual good story but it’s immersion breaking.

A normal person couldn't think what's going on in a genius mind, in the real world or in fictions.

Example Bibidong isn't a genius she was just born lucky with twin spirit as well having the spirit hall as her backing.

Tang Chen was the only one can be considered a literal genius in Douluo 1 for creating every clear sky hammer techniques as well exploding soul rings.

So the MC creating techniques should be accepted in the guise of a genius, not people getting suspicious of his origins and where he came from.

Imagine sending someone to different country to be a spy but he was so talented lol.

This author read to much Naruto FF then combined it with Douluo.

Then at Chapter 30+ this protagonist literally admitted he was a transmigator in front of the High Priest.

I get it that he doesn't want to hide anymore and be his true self but there's a huge difference between that and being a dumb idiot.

Story concept of 10k sword soul spirit is good, but I have 3 main complaints:

1. The plot about MC's spat with gangzi is really unnecessary. Just like other reviewer say, why gangzi appear out of nowhere and belittling MC? its just author's deliberate attempt to make gangzi become MC's enemy

2. The loophole about MC attaching a bunch of spirit rings to his martial spirit. It's known that before bibi dong, no owner of twin martial spirit survive because their body can't withstand attaching many spirit rings. Yet when it come to MC not only he didn't explode, but his body become stronger the more he attached spirit rings. The reason why spirit master body becomes stronger after attaching spirit ring isn't because of spirit ring itself, but because their cultivation realm get breakthrough, thus making subsequent spirit rings attached become stronger than previous one.

MC's situation is quite illogical, unless MC's sword martial spirit himself is special, able to absorb energy in spirit rings as nutrients to strengthen MC's body.

3. MC's attempt to steal blue silver emperor and her spirit bones is too risky. Even if MC need to wait several months he should only steal when tang hao escort tang san to notting academy, not when tang hao still live in holy spirit village. Seriously, this kind of impatient mindset is seriously unnecessary since with MC's talent few months of slacking off will not affect him in the slightest, yet MC risk tang hao find out and kill him, just to steal spirit bones few months earlier. MC's succeeded to steal mostly because of plot armor luck.

And instead of attaching a bunch of low level spirit rings, it'll be much better if MC try to attempt to fuse his 10k sword spirit to increase its quality. Tbh 1 sword spirit with quality surpass divine grade is much better than 10k mediocre sword spirit, and 10k mediocre sword spirit being fused will certainly surpass divine grade martial spirit (like qian renxue's angel god spirit).

hahahaha this dumbass author, a ordinary human main character, a beginner who just learn love breathing technique (demon slayer world) and chakra + byakugan + gentle fist (naruto world) can fight toe to toe with Monkey D. Garp? not to mention later kill Akainu and Aokiji, who are you fooling? retarded mentally author who wrote this dumbass novel, im not 9 years old you trying to sugar candy me LOL. Get Out.
