Lightning protection:

1. Regarding the lack of a romantic pairing: There is no romance in the main story, but there are some scenes where you can ship couples (although they are fictional). The interactions between all the characters are incredibly heartwarming and sweet (no romantic pairing = you can ship any couple you want).

2. The main character is not Shinjuku Nagato; Shinjuku Nagato appears later in the story (in the Millennium Arc).
