A major news story broke in the Human Federation: Ax, the Federation's diamond bachelor and commander of the Wind Chime Legion, had a daughter. The daughter was a human-cat hybrid, said to have a genetic defect, making her frail and sickly, and seemingly on the verge of death. The little cub had silver hair and heterochromatic eyes, and was incredibly adorable.
