As the former top magical girl of the Moonlight Rank, Mandrake became a wanted fugitive of the Magical Court after being forced to kill a teammate during a mission.
Corrupted by the incident, most of her magic was rendered useless—leaving her with only an improper and indecent form of tentacle magic.
To evade capture, Nan Yuli abandoned her identity as a magical girl, blending completely into the mundane world of ordinary people.
That is, until one day, her little sister suddenly announced her dream of becoming a magical girl—and, to Nan Yuli’s horror, seemed to be making real progress toward that goal.
At that moment, Nan Yuli panicked.
—Your big brother here is the Magical Court’s number one fugitive! If you become a magical girl, they’re going to dig into my past and expose me! What am I supposed to do?!
—And why, at your age, are you so determined to pursue this career path?
—As someone who’s been through it, let me tell you—it’s not great.
—What? You’re saying you only listen to Sister Mandrake?
—I f**king…
Thanks to her sister’s relentless efforts, Nan Yuli’s true identity was finally exposed.
Cornered by former comrades and old friends, the sly and cunning girl could only put on a weak and helpless expression.
“You… What do you want? D-Don’t touch my tent**les!”
Gotta agree with Ivanovitch94. too much nonsense. as for comedy idk, I don't have that emotion D: anyways It started good until ch.114 where too much random stuff was added to the survival novel.
I'll give it 2.5 stars. Def agree with Aschente but I think they should add the slice-of-life tag instead haha. But ya the world background and power system isn't explained well or is kept confusing/vague to give the author some writing space when something comes up. Kinda annoying but I guess it is a decent writing idea to give yourself leeway when needed. Another thing is that the author somehow managed to make the text dry and boring despite what is written. I lost interest in reading around ch.160.
As for LtKaiser, giving a 1 star just cuz of poor name translations is imo sad. Tho it can definitely be annoying when seeing chinese names in a western type novel. Also why not complain about the kingdom name while you are at it? Liefeng Empire is a very western name if you ask me. Anyways you are on a mtl site and it's one of the best mtl sites too. Anyways why was the reply so fast? ya watching your comments or something. D:
As a book requested by me I gotta give it 5 stars xD also thanks to 0xcheukin for fast releasing.
As for my rating of 5 stars, this book can resonate with my emotions which is pretty rare, I can count the books that can resonate with me with my hands. With just this it deserves 5 stars imo but this is just subjective as it's my personal view. haha
Anyways my rating will be extremely biases, so I won't talk about it. Give the book a try!
... Ya supposed to start with something to bring the reader in. Ya did that, first 2 chapters drew the audience in... But what happened after? Ya just put us right into a battle with no other info about anyone... Even the mc. And its still going on at ch33...
eh... it's ok, it's more of a cringe system military face slap book, with 0 logic in it and according to Salom it looks like there is cultivation mixed in and looking into the later chapters it's still comflict between countries on earth even though he has a system that has spaceships and is still somehow focused on face slapping. I don't like the face slap genre or meaningless face slapping.
a lovecraftian book. imo it's not that bad as i've read worse but not everyone is the same. give it a try on a empty stomache xD Anyways as a stardard for a lovecraftian book, all characters are crazy in someway or another. Unfortunately we only have 100ish chapters and need more.
Not sure how to rate this as my impression was it's gonna be like the Spider LN but with kingdom building. But it's not which is dissapointing, so idk. It's more like the Slime anime but with just 1 race. ofc the basic idea is very difference, but the impression when reading is similar. It's very slice-of-life like
Better than average for this type of novel, nothing too good but it's not bad either. It does have it's unique elements and is a good read if there is nothing on your reading list. Tho as always with these types of novels is get repetitive. from the author's foreshadowing it looks like they are in 'beginner' villiage, not sure how well the story will be at that point. Anyways there is a system. xD yeah came here just to write that, how did the author mess that up? lmao
Isn't this Necropolis Immortal that's already translated? Anyways it's been a while since i've read this book, but if you don't like the book after he raids the first tomb, the book is not for you, but at least read to the first tomb raid to see if ya'll like to read the book. I have finished the book. I just remember it being pretty good but, it gets repetitive after a while.
