This story is overhyped by everyone. When you are used to trash, the clean place of a beggar looks like heaven.
First, the story begins with a boy in a cultivation family who had to fight against suppression from a fellow family member from the main lineage. Unlike what @Solo said in his comment, the MC wasn't mentioned by anyone from any sect.
The supposed family member just guessed that the MC's name would be mentioned for no apparent reason(due to the MC being trash), and began suppressing the MC. It was hard to read through because if the dude had just not done anything, the MC would remain trash in his first life without the dude trying too hard and making unnecessary enemies.
I am one to say, if the cheat is uninteresting and of no impact, then there is no need to have a cheat at all. The cheat is mediocre. The MC is already a genius with 2 spirits(or whatever that means) and had lived 2 lives (since that's already a cheat). Having a pool somewhere in his head is not needed.
It took about 4 chapters for the author to describe a fight scene that showed the MC punching a woman and a dude(just 2 moves) and breaking through of course(not like a true villain wouldn't punch you in your guts while you break through).
The cultivation realm is the basic xianxia cultivation realm with a spin on it, but everything appears dull and uninteresting. The scheming looks meaningless and childish, the fight scenes are stretched out, the world looks uninteresting. I have read more trash stories with better and more interesting characters.
The only upside is that the story is solid and thought through.
