Alright, I think this needs to be said. Something is either wrong with Google translate or the new batch of novels are being corrupted by these Chinese sites with Korean on purpose to prevent guys from scraping their content and translating it directly to English. The way to go around this is to use both Chinese to English translator and Korean to English translator.
Trash! Some stupid list pops up and starts revealing people's martial arts secrets and realm and no one bats an eye.
Cardboard cutout work. Interesting if you haven't read anything like this before. Cliche if you have. What's it with chinese martial arts novels and religious cults?
Fast food junk. Typical martial arts trash with religious cults that talk funny; "holy envoy, I want to visit the holy mountain to take my holy sword from the holy vault. Did your holiness hear my holy speech?"
Trash novel, trash MC, trash overpowered system used trashly by the trash author. Interesting if you don't have time to do anything. Trash if you expect MC to reach foundation establishment around chapters 80-120. I don't think he reached foundation building in over 300 chapters
I am giving this 1 star because the author gave his MC an overpowered cheat, yet made him struggle to catch up with mid grade spirit root after years of cultivation. Even normal novels of these kind have their MCs reaching foundation establishment at the 80-120th chapter. This? How about 200 chapters. Totally ridiculous! Why not just make the MC an ordinary genius and remove the cheat since it's so useless? Now, this story is OK, not that bad but I gave a low rating because the author basically scammed me of my time.
I am giving this story 4 stars because everyone down vote it for a stupid reason. This story reminds me of how Apple fired Steve Jobs. Although, Steve was an ass, he was also their golden goose, just like Lin Che. The sect underestimated his importance, and treated him like trash, only for them to regret it. The story itself is trash, but not for the reason people speak of.
This story is overhyped by everyone. When you are used to trash, the clean place of a beggar looks like heaven. First, the story begins with a boy in a cultivation family who had to fight against suppression from a fellow family member from the main lineage. Unlike what @Solo said in his comment, the MC wasn't mentioned by anyone from any sect. The supposed family member just guessed that the MC's name would be mentioned for no apparent reason(due to the MC being trash), and began suppressing the MC. It was hard to read through because if the dude had just not done anything, the MC would remain trash in his first life without the dude trying too hard and making unnecessary enemies. I am one to say, if the cheat is uninteresting and of no impact, then there is no need to have a cheat at all. The cheat is mediocre. The MC is already a genius with 2 spirits(or whatever that means) and had lived 2 lives (since that's already a cheat). Having a pool somewhere in his head is not needed. It took about 4 chapters for the author to describe a fight scene that showed the MC punching a woman and a dude(just 2 moves) and breaking through of course(not like a true villain wouldn't punch you in your guts while you break through). The cultivation realm is the basic xianxia cultivation realm with a spin on it, but everything appears dull and uninteresting. The scheming looks meaningless and childish, the fight scenes are stretched out, the world looks uninteresting. I have read more trash stories with better and more interesting characters. The only upside is that the story is solid and thought through.
