I actually like this! The entire thing definitely is a subversion of the best tamer tropes in here: from the protagonist not going to school and solely focusing on his business, the Myriad Spirits Codex and its abilities and how it actually influences the world around it without anyone ever knowing it. Yes, it's a slow burn. But the fact that it's a slow burn makes it SUPER interesting. The pacing is super reasonable and realistically portrays the rise to fame without taking away the charm of the story! Also, I love that majority of the chapters focuses the breeding aspects not on resources or skillsets, but a mix of both + unconventional methods. And it also focuses a lot on the lore, We get to actually understand the world build and it's not solely focused on the protagonist alone. I mean, my favorites are Lao Sha and Yaya. Alongside Xiaohuo, Qianyi, Xiaoqing, Feifiei, Xiaoshi, and Jiaoji! Asides from that, I'm very much vibing with Liu Fuhai, Leng Ye, Liu Niang, Zhu Hong, Meng Yao, Holy Dragon Legend and the Wolf Saint. The only criticism I have is the undeserved racism and missing chapters: [Spoiler: Chapter 759 and 760 are the same content! Where is the introduction of possession-type beasts during the awards ceremony? I AM ON MY KNEES!] Other than that, if you want a good story, I highy recommend this.
