the amount of nationalism and jabs at other countries is just, the 2 times the mc encountered people from different countries, theres a lore dump about how bad that country is, and theres just a random jab at vietnamese currency for some reason the entire story is, predictable, you can literally read any other beast taming novel and it will be the same, just that in this novel, its over explained and dragged out if you want to read beast taming, might as well read other novels, they're shorter and doesn't contain the subtle racism and nationalism this novel has edit: 475, once again, its other countries like fictional kr and russia thats cheating in an exam, not us, we longhua/fic chinese people never considered it in the first place, and will win regardless, god the pretentiousness
