Arrogant, ruthless and unscrupulous protagonist. Doesn’t suffer any loss coz. he’s supposed to be too OP. Impenetrable plot armour. Kills (to the point of committing multiple genocides) on slightest of provocation coz. he can, without any consequence.😒 Nevertheless, the storyline is not too repetitive like most other Chinese cultivation novels. Also, the female lead and other supporting characters are well-written. Refreshing to see an ‘arrange marriage’ (cited by other commenters) that is not toxic. Reasons for this nominal marriage is explained clearly. Turns into a real romantic relationship/marriage pretty quickly. No forced comedy. No system. Fast cultivation. Power couple. Parents alive. No harem. Sect rebuilding. Bottomline: Average read. If the MC was well-written, then it would have been a great novel. But it’s still better than most novels of this genre.
