It’s more interesting then I imagined and quite fun, got a few laughs. But objectively it’s a bit bad and I can’t rate it higher.
The Eriri dynamic was interesting, it’s a pity it was somewhat tossed to the side, for such a degenerate he has good chemistry with her. Would’ve been better if they had more interactions
Also it’s not really realistic, the author tries the mc as someone that’s self aware about their looks(though they insist they’re average) but he doesn’t have the mentality of an ugly person which reduces immersion and quality of the writing
The mc also is a bit masochistic which gets annoying. He’s easily controlled and submissive, but also constantly wants a harem and never thought of a pure relationship. Don’t know how someone like him can get a harem.
Another annoying point about his character, he later gets novels like “I want to eat your pancreas”, then goes around showing it off shamelessly, even mentally he thinks nothing is wrong. Constantly boasting about his ability to write it and feeling proud. Well he never had much shame so I guess it’s to be expected.
A good (?) point I guess is that the mc is a coward and doesn’t dare to act out on his perverted desires, looking at the synopsis I thought it’d be a stallion novel and wasn’t interested till some reviews convinced me.
Speaking about reviews, Aki tomoya gets one line then is forgotten, Hikigaya never appears, only Shirogane appears sometimes in the background, these reviews mislead me
You can also see that the author is quite afraid of being banned, though it’s his fault for having such a weird synopsis and getting special attention
Overall pretty enjoyable, I recommend reading it casually for some fun, I’ll take a break, hopefully find some pure love fics to wash my eyes. Reading too much about this degenerate pig makes me feel filthy
(Ps: I kind of know why the characters like mocking him, it’s quite fun and feels fitting)
(At C239 when wrote above)
First of all this is a fun novel, read with the mentality of enjoyment and don’t fuss over small details.
Now onto the review I found this fic pretty enjoyable. The mc is a failed art student that transmigrated and wants to spread his art to others, with a system assisting
Though it’s a pity our kind and benevolent mc is always misunderstood, he just wants to bring joy to others (at least I felt it), occasionally some people may die but you know accidents happen. And a little mental trauma is healthy right?
(Just some additional comments on other reviews below)
Note- There is a review stating lines are in the wrong order, which is incorrect. It’s only for 2 chapters and can be ignored. If you have high reading comprehension you can try to understand or just skip. Around Ch85ish
Another Note - Giving a one star review after reading 4 chapters is impressive. Their comprehension of the dao of shamelessness is at least minor achievement. Well talking about his review, in short it’s all bs. Only decent point is the occulmancy line but he mistook it for Legitimicy, author later filled that hole. As for others, mc didn’t try using transfiguration since he hasn’t learned it, he didn’t exchange money because he had none, he wasn’t infuriated with goblins, and became close with one later even.
Within 5 chapters mc said he was invincible and said “A single thought could shatter countless multiverses, even omniverses.”
Basically was given by the system to him for free, he proceeds to destroy the planet then go back to his original universe and destroys the universe with one punch.
Yeah so basically trash (btw I went to ch15 just to say this)
This novel is purely for fun and you can’t take it too seriously, originally it was done well enough and most importantly it was enjoyable
But some parts are annoying and too badly written. Basically everything Tang San does is wrong, anyone related to the protagonist will be righteous and hate evil, the more you read the more illogical and hypocritical it becomes.
Like Huo Yun’er being revealed to have her concept of love twisted from her birth and manipulated, then she gets whitewashed and starts scolding tang San for 10,000 words.
Or the god of destruction and other gods become some great righteous people that care about ordinary mortals to set off Tang San
Instead of being purely for fun it starts some great rebellion and make everyone a dragon plan. At that point my brain started going online and felt it was too stupid to read. Author didn’t take into consideration the world and just treated everything as China, no even if it really was China it’d still be illogical since this isn’t an era of great disaster for the dynasty.
Basically some bs like everyone is born equal, land should be given to commoners, asking for money to be awakened is pure evil, unification of an empire is the great way anyone that objects is a great devil.
The mc basically says a few Chinese idioms and it somehow brainwashes all the noble children
Anyway the flavor changed and it’s gone from fun to either turn your brain completely off or be disgusted
Pretty good Cote fic. Mc enters A class and story centers around A class, unlike most novels where everything is centered around class D so that’s nice.
Characters are pretty well portrayed or have reasons, like Horikita’s character is unlikable and foolish because she hasn’t achieved any growth due the MC’s presence in the story
The mc’s character is a bit interesting and I like it, especially no simp behavior and his domineering behavior is fun.
Not a eunuch story but also not a stallion.
A bad point is that although the mc’s character isn’t good, his actions are a bit saintly and he doesn’t seem evil really even though he keeps saying he is.
Would be nice if we could see him go ruthless for once or show that evil behavior he keeps talking about
This mc is really capable but his goal is really difficult so it’s a bit interesting and causes more challenge and restraint. (Though the reasoning for the goal is a bit bs so you’ll have to ignore it)
Overall good
Edit:
(The above was written after reading up till Ch. 189, though I still think the fic is good overall)
Still agree with most of what I said.
By the way on a side note I quite like the character Morishita Ai in this fic, the author made her basically an OC and in the later part added a cute chuunibyu setting which is interesting.
The mc did have one somewhat ruthless moment but it was a small matter that was just slightly dangerous. He talks as if he’s a great evil person that’s done a lot of evil but we don’t really see much of it.
It’s good I guess, but it’s not that enjoyable, gets a bit boring after reading for a while. Pretty good for a time pass.
I feel the mc’s character is becoming more boring, talking about world peace and no longer using unorthodox methods.
Basically the quality of the novel worsens after a while and the mc becomes different subtly.
Gu Yuena coming out, spending time, and everything else makes no sense. Makes no sense that she magically fell in love with him either. Even her character isn’t remotely close to the original. That’s not Gu Yuena
And the mc’s no sword Douluo, it’s better to call him Slap Douluo. Someone wants his girl—slap, someone wants to kill him—slap, someone breaks into his house—another slap. And he’ll keep saying that next time this happens he’ll kill them. But guess what even after a couple more times he doesn’t kill anyone. What a liar.
The author forcibly extends this stupid plot.
Decent premise, trashy development
Mc is not cautious at all and there aren’t any consequences to his actions. Turn brain off to read.
Shizuoka hiratsuka is annoying, for some bs reason she got involved with the mc bc of forced plot and ended up getting more screen time. And over time she becomes more irritating and pushy, leeches of the mc.
His interactions with girls are affected by the author’s horny mind and it’s a constant repeat, using a lot of word count
The writing isn’t original at all and sane starting Chinese mainstream flavor. The author kept all the bad and annoying parts as well. Like pinching and pulling the mc’s ear
Basically the plot and many settings of the world are for the purpose of getting a harem and reducing difficulty. One of the more disgusting parts was that a setting was added by the author in which people in the “inner world “ can’t harm each other so it maximizes the mc’s advantage and makes those noble girls helpless to him. It’s not even written well and just a hasty explanation on why those noble girls will willingly join his harem. The setting didn’t even seem thought up from the start but was added later to fill a hole (attempt).
This novel would be better if the mc had higher standards for his harem in terms of character. He had them at the start but the author dropped it halfway because he got horny and changed his mind.
The mc also isn’t doing anything in the real world or made any plans. What’s funny is that the mc did make a plan and it started good, but the author got horny and focused on hiratsuka then realized he wasn’t good at writing or just wanted to focus on daily(dirty) interactions and pretended as if plans and stuff never existed.
He was developing into a smart character and thought about having subordinates but was scrapped for above reasons. The part I’m on, the mc is poor, refuses to use his brain, doesn’t use his strength, cooks, carries buckets and cleans rooms, still ordered around by his teacher and forced to join a club and can’t even complain.
