The MC in this novel is Li An.Like every novel the author nerfs the MC.It read again and disgusted with it.Come on,he has more life span and could improve his spiritual roots at normal speed. The author forces the MC to be naive and dumb(it's around chapter 19), the novel becomes downhill after meeting Tan Qingxue introduced by Xu Qiuhui and get bavk on it, she suggests plots to control him.This novel had some potential that could make it great but is ruined by author and I will show you with examples from what I have read this novel. Example 1 : Tang Qingxue wants to go to secret realm and MC does not want to secret.When she said to join her venture to secret realm he immediately agress with out any second thought and didn't even it refuse.But our MC has no need to venture into secret realm and compete for opportunities like others for cultivatio; because he can compensate these by his long lifespan and improving his spiritual roots which is possible.He could have not involved in these people and feels like fall for their trap because they are women. Example 2 : He could made talismans in peace instead of involving with this Tan Qingxue. Example 3 : This novel is slow and the author is forcing enemies and forcing problems into MC of this novel Don't be decieved by high ratings from other reviewers because they are not underlying the basic problems with this novel The real point in which the novel's downfall happens after joining the Dao sect who mistreated him,if he go to other sects then he can start a fresh start

Like other low key and relaxed series it nerfs the MC like other novels.This is one of the novels the MC is low-key and cautious and he did not compete for oppurtunities but and show its uniqueness by his peaceful living,instead the author forces MC by forcing and teleporting him to secret realm for assessment and forcing him to get entangled in big forces by teleporting into the secret realm for assessment by big forces.The system is pretty weak and shitty and the progress of the story is slow.This novel gets downhill after chapter 159.
