Immortal Refiner
Jan 9, 2025
It's definitely not a 4 rating novel. There is story but it's so fucking boring. Neither of those 2 worlds are explored properly. He has 2 cheats which are completely different from each other. One is going to a almost destroyed world and second is his lifespan increases the more he crafts something. He barely crafts btw. I mean the name of novel is immortal refiner but refining is very little tbh. And most weird part is his cultivation talent and even the martial talent he has. His cheats doesn't help him in that in any shape or form but he just rapidly increases his cultivation for some reason. Its the same in immortal world. And like i said, story is just meh. I didn't find anything noteworthy in the story since it felt so boring to me. I was waiting for it to pick up but it never did
It's a total 5 for a novel from this website but even in novels in general, its a 4. I have read novels for quite a few years and you do end up finding some rare novels like this one. This is one of the novels which makes trying to find good novels from shit novels worth it. It's a pretty brutal novel from beginning. Our main character get introduced to immortality just cause his first master needs a lab rat for testing and from there on out, he gets into trouble again and again but gets out either by flattering or something else. There is a bit of nonsense power he has which is he can totally change is breath which makes it harder for even much higher cultivation level people to detect him. And he sometimes gets benifits which seems like it just falls into his lap which I am not particularly a fan of. This is why I said it's a 4. But it has a pretty good story. He isn't exactly a devil or something but he will definitely not help you even if he could if you aren't related to him or give him enough help regardless of how pitiful you are. It's a recurrent theme in this novel and not to mention, the entire cultivation world in this novel is fucking insane. Author really shows that a cultivator doens't give a fuck about a normal human. Even the polite characters are only polite cause MC is strong enough but they are fucking devils for weaker ones. One thing I liked is author doens't pretend he find it normal. He doesn't even mention it, it's that natural for our Main character. Also author doesn't stretch the stories. It comes at a reasonable speed and then we go to a different story rather than just wasting time in 1 or 2 stories. I love this I don't know which idiot is giving it a 1 cause he isnt a insane Maniac but he is needlessly bringing down ratings. Would totally recommend this novel
Story seems to be going somewhere although it's not too interesting tbh. Everything just feels hollow and main character is fucking annoying tbh. He is type of character who says everything with a slight smile and all that and some really bad jokes on top of that. Author tries to show how much of evil guy he is but really, it just comes down to selfish dude. It's pretty dumb how he thinks asking for a soul search somehow makes him more evil than people at the sect mentioned in beginning. Again story isn't anything special either. It's too bland and too cliche. 72 chapters in and It's not good enough.
It's pretty bad to be honest. The power scaling first of all is all over the place. The top power of a small place is county is first level of bone refining but then he goes to a big sect of that same county and suddenly, even outer disciples are at that level and even a higher. What tf is this power scaling. The top power of that sect is the realm right after this one...I mean this is such a nonsense and not to mention, he goes and becomes a handyman disciple of that big sect and the reason is even more stupid which is a spoiler. Over all, the story section isn't too bad but the decisions of author with how main character acts is just divine stupid
It's not bad and it has a structure for story which is a thing which needs to be said here since many stories here don't have exactly have a story lol mc kinda starts sucking up but otherwise it's fine and definitely not the rating it has currently. The bar is low here tbh It's a 3.5 basically. There are some many good things but some bad ones....some of his decisions are questionable at the very least. It doesn't fall into the trap of cliche writing however...story wise. The translation is bad however.
Calling this trash isn't an understatement. Save your brain. You can't take anything in this novel seriously and mc just gets everything with minimal effort. I can't think of a single good quality
Bro wtf is wrong with this author. He proposely makes main character kill billions for showing off and then explains it how he does it. Is the author deranged or something. Don't know what happened after Great zhao arc. Also I don't think there is much of story in later arcs. Like beginning has story but not the later arcs. Definitely won't suggest it. It's complete brainrot. Whoever giving it 5 star needs to read even a decent novel to understand what novel means. Like first 100 something chapters has some story...not a lot of depth but it has story. It's complete haywire in later chapters.
It's my kind of novel so it's a 5 or it will be 4. The main character is sort of murdereous Maniac but that's all. There are lot of characters including memorable ones. People seem to be confused about rrlams in this novel. So I don't remember low level ones but it's well explained. Qi condensation Qi fusion Body refining Qi refining Spirit refining These are top ones and translation sometimes get confusing between first 2 i mentioned so keep that in mind. Between Chapter 596 and 597, there is an additional chapter which explains it in detail. It's a chapter dedicated to explain that so there are no spoilers
It's pretty dumb. One good thing this novel has is that main character seems more human and not a mass murderer maniac but that's where it honestly ends. The most ridiculous thing is the friends he makes. I mean 2 out of 4 has some sort of special characteristic which is world shaking and her wife is also really talented. There weren't any mention of monster clan in book until before we randomly meet a squirrel who just happens to be on conquest to find royal bloodline of monster clan and boom now one of his subordinates is a royal monster bloodline. One of his other friends happen to be really compatible with a unique skill which makes him a super genius and speaking of skills, these skills are so useless i mean. Someone could match his perfect level 10 skills, just with his own single skill. It's like he is just putting skills in bag but we don't see any use of them apart from a few. And i mean it's kind of stupid how he leans so many superior skills but opponent just comes with a skill which is dime a dozen in his bags and he gets into danger. Like how is that even possible. You have the best foundations and you have the best skills at top level, the number of skills you have is also far more than opponent then how tf is he even getting close to killing you. Although the 2 friends of MC has their own stories going on in between. They are moving forward without MC's intervention so I guess it's a pro i guess
I mean there's not much in name of story upto 250 chapters where I stopped. Seriously, it's all about getting points and adding it to it's techniques to become stronger. That's the whole idea and improving your sect. There is no tension and no mystery. Its a power fantasy through and through. You can understand this if you read it and you see that how he is almost the strongest person in his domain. Even if higher level people comes then they get oppressed back to a lower level. And there's a bit of mechanic in this world and by that, entire sect keeps improving like there's tomorrow. Seriously i found very little pieces of story but I didnt found a central theme of story which was weird
