A good series where primal focus is on cultivation. Our MC is not merciless tyrant or doormat. If villain has possible future use she let them live but if they hurt her people or their life become detrimental to her growth, she kills them. She doesn't get ruthless as she grows stornger but infact opposite, when she grows stronger she can protect herself no need to kill mere ants or possible stepping stones. All her "opportunities" are hard earned with her life on the line. She never slacks of either. Focus on multiple aspects of cultivation like pill refining, artificer, scholar dao to painting, music and cooking. Doesn't underestimate her enemies and there are no braindead villian here though some fools exist from time to time. We get other strong females as time goes and not everyone is fighting for same guy...thank Gods, deities and every divine existence. Ah i do need other novel recommendations like this where romance is not focus.
