The plot is good to average so far (as chapter 58) but the background of the story is same name as the reality like japan so yeah you can guess where it going and there are already foreshadowing of it and the way the mc wasted money to just get vip is kinda idiotic. He should have waited to get a good deal because the money he have is finite and the way the novel portray on how hard to earn money in the game made it more uncomfortable for me with how wasteful spending mc is. So read it on your own risk because i am out and i don't like how the story constructed. (Edit read up to 156) Im back because of some comments to see more about the contents so it is a decent to read but not recommended to read because like i said in my post previously that it involves real world similarity. It really happened like guided conflict between china and japan especially if you use ai beta where it literally said that it is japan. Also there are many plot holes like he didn't even change his cultivation technique up to the chapter 156 which came from his past life which is a low level technique so how his foundation still solid and his wasteful act of money in the game and corpse of yao beast he killed where he literally left it to official or to anyone who take it after he left. Also why he give too much goodwill to the official side while in his past life he literally opposite of them because of tianjao or heaven. Don't say that they didn't have many high official that supports the action of the heaven to him at that time so how he show goodwill to them if you didn't even know that he is your enemy in your past life. And he can take thing slowly because he is top power in the world as long as he didn't court death so it still wasteful of him spending on unnecessary thing in the game for quick success by spending the precious 'finite' amount of coins he have. So my rating still the same 2 stars. Good for past time (because i read it this far to stop) but irritating to read because of chinanubwa 1 self-centred mentally.
