This series is good, not very serious and mostly comedic but it does have it moment, be careful that whiplash will slap you in the face midway through though. At chapter 289 author suddenly introduced an alien race that is just black people sterotypes taken to the extreme. The whiplash is so strong that I have to write this 1300 letters review (deleted after reading more to not give people the wrong impressions about this novel) right after reading this chapter cause the novel has no sign of this previously aside from lacking any mentions of characters that dont have chinese name. If you can bear with this then this novel can be considered very good, worth 4.5 stars. This whiplash is too strong though. Update at chapter 343: I thought this novel would suddenly pivot into a racist wet dream but no. Author only mentioned that race a total of one (1) single time since then and only for comedic effect. This novel is very diverse with many different alien races. All the races introduced after this is unique in their own way and fun to read about. (They all have Chinese name somehow though)

No systems, no cheats, set in a world with myriad paths to extrodinary (beast taming fusion is the main stream in MC's world, there are many other way to the peak) MC paves his own path to the peak with blood, sweat and knowledge (via a lot of learning and many more methodical/unethical research). Rational, no uneccessary risk taking, no low-key, no always hiding, he appear strong when he have to, cultivated social relations for benefits when he have to. No one in high position is stupid in this novel. This novel deserves it's high rating. The only flaw I can see is that personal details is few and far between, the author just doesnt extrapolate on the depth of characters' personality.

This is very disapointing for me, the author is very consistent with his math and all the game related things, another thing he is also consistent with is racism, so much racism, like every 15 chapters there will be a mini racism arc, mostly about how "non-nationals" are rapists, not human, capture them as slaves, how human rights are nonsense, etc, .... I wanted to like this, I tried to push past each racism arc but after each racism arc is another racism arc, it just never end. If you like gamelit and dont mind/like racism then you may like this, but it is not for me.
