OMG I remember reading this back in middle school. If I remember correctly this book was about some guy getting transmigrated as a carp and with the help of a system he transforms into a koi fish and eventually falls in love with the emperor(ML). In the extras they have a few kids and ML somehow can also turn into a koi and they all live happily ever after. Now that I look back at this, this was weird as fuck but did that stop me from reading? No. Anyways, non toxic ML and MC, slowburn, misunderstandings, face slapping, and funny moments all in one here.

Smart mc, interesting plot and good humor (if you know Chinese slang). Story made me want to make an account just to give it a good rating because something this good should not just be 3.7 stars. Dispite there being a few messed up chapter near the end it was a great read. It's filled with plot twists, tension, silly moments, ups and downs and great scary scenes. Not a lot of romance too but that's also fine by me P.s. grass is used a lot in the novel so heads up, most of the time grass is slang for fuck
