Though not bad in general, I really dont like like Jacks of all Trades novels. Just the lack of focus on a single or very few talents means the author can slack off really developing other aspects of writing.
For example, the talent evolution at Tier 4 seems to be a development of the plot, but it is not. Not really.
So far, he is going about suiciding just to push his talents. We have seen this happen. Why do we need to go through all of it in detail? A single and simple timeskip might be enough. Or multiple timeskips.
Repetitions aren't just about words; even concepts and trends are repetitions. We already know that, as the MC upon whom the novel depends will never die, why bother with the nonsense?
Author should instead expand the plot. Show how the MC really acquires more strange talents from cases where the opponent is not in a rush to kill him. Just walking up to be killed and acquire great talents got old fast.
Not a bad novel, just that there is no character or plot development.
MC just attacks enemies, goes off hunting, or 'interacts' with people in the blandest of ways.
In short, boring.
Too much exposition.
However, I dropped the book when that Zhang guy, the first guy, was killed. How did the guy have memories of the fight that led to Wen Xiao being mutilated?
