This is one of the best chinese wuxia novel I have ever read. In urban catagory, this is one of the best novel. First 500 chap is secular stuff with too much face slaps which is not mandatory at all. Next 500 chap is story within horror games after 1200 chap MC moves to immortal realm where the real story starts to unfold. The initial 1200 chap is the pre medium to storyline. Its like setting up the canves for bigger storyline. Initially, I also thaught there js too mucj face slapping but after 3000 chap when the lord of heaven and man palace starts to interfare with his destiny and wanted to kill him in the bud when he was so weak made sense to me why he was being provoked everywhere and even illogically becausr its lord of the heaven and man palace who is trying to change his destiny or kill him in his past or in his teenaging that is why initiall non sense face slaps were everywhere. After every 500 chap a new game of chess unfolded and more intense story becomes. Emperor Lou Wuji never let us down and always comes with the more hyped and betterself of his previous version of the current and past life. There are too many hyped outbursted excellent or x factor moments of Emperor Lou Wuji's entry in almost every battle he faught. If one can withstand the 2000 chapter story he will truelly love the next story and game of chess. One starts to love lou wuji. I have read my novels mentioning human emperor but believe me no one in any novel truelly have the power of human emperor. Everh human emperor of reat of the novels call themselves human emperor but somehow cultivate and use immortal or Divine powers while this is the only novel in the internet until now I found with pure human powers cultivation and known as pure human emperor and are more accurate than other novels in terms of cultivating the powers.
