The series is really good and well written, but then afterwards, it has the trope of people, specifically the protagonists just not dying, the bunch of people around him. And the moral justifications are weak. I say moral justifications, because the author went into them, but they were somewhat lame, like a cut from one to another, whereas even in real life, you think about it, ruminate over it and then mix it with your current understandings as you move forward in life. Some useless justifications about a side-character dying. You will tend to skip it since it becomes monotonous. Also, it may look like a huge no killings in it, death surrounding the protagonist is not that much, no death of ideals, people or anything. In the last 300 chapters, or around chap 500, it was becoming an annoying goody-two-shoes kind of thing. Stil read it. Above average novel for a samurai one, but the author could do better for a more "human" protagonist. Having a wife does not mean you cannot have him remorse things.
