I'm not gonna lie, I didn't expect to come for the harem and stay for the power system and world building. This is way better than it sounded. Gotta soldier through the first couple chapter but everything changes after the spar with Leonhart.

The only issue I have is how many forced misunderstandings there are. He's coincidentally seen with a girl, coincidentally heard saying something ambiguous then they coincidentally touch, while coincidentally another girl passes by and then rumors spread and then he coincidentally doesnt explain well, its not enough to ruin the story but it's a bit much.

MC has an extremely op cheat that lets him comprehend anything by just looking and even improve it. Theoretically, this cheat should activate whenever the MC sees a justu, but the author conveniently decides when to activate the cheat and when not to. He sees a fire style justu and instantly comprehends every fire style justu that exists, but the next moment, he sees earth style, but doesn't comprehend every earth justu instantly?

Also, the author really doesn't want to change certain events, so he comes up with stupid, ridiculous reasons to force events to happen. The MC was there when Obito and Kakashi tried to save Rin. He said he wanted to try and prevent the tragedy, so he stupidly saved Rin first instead of stopping Kakashi and Obito, and took so long saving her that by the time he reunited with the two, Obito was already crushed by the boulder. The MC said he still couldn't prevent fate. The MC was strong enough at that time that he could have just followed along with Obito and Kakashi and saved Rin, whilst ensuring they all lived. But the author didn't want he main villain, Obito, to be saved, so he came up with a stupid reason to force the tragedy to happen.

This happened a second time when the author forced the nine-tailed attack to happen. At this point, the MC was so op that no one was his enemy. The MC, knowing that Kushina was about to give birth, decides to take a trip around the world collecting tail beasts, and while Konoha was being destroyed and Kushina was killed by Obito, he was busy trying to alter the terrain of the water country. He's the Hokage and yet failed to protect the village when he's clearly so strong.

After everything Obito did, the MC still did not want to kill Obito, even though Obito knew what he did was unforgivable. The MC decided to forgive him anyway and find a way to convince Konha to forgive him, too. All enemies are forgiven, no matter how much harm they caused Konoha. There's so much more illogical nonsense, really regret reading this book, garbage.

By no means perfect, but it's a great novel nonetheless. Doesn't diverge too much from other novels with a similar premise, a plus being that the system isn't too outlandish in the rewards it provides to the MC. To an extent, the manner in which the MC has to go about acquiring his rewards is quite satisfying as they're not directly handed to him.

No face-slapping at all, nor unreasonable characters who go out of their way to antagonize the MC or those related to him. At most petty interludes that come and go quickly and don't detract from the story.

As for the romance, its okay. The first love interest isn't really all that special with her pursuits in life being a bit superficial at first and being a bit money orientated. Fortunately, she knows her limits and shows appropriate restraint along with considering the MC's wellbeing and thoughts at every instant. Thus far, she's the only one the MC has developed a "proper" relationship with. There's another woman who'll most likely(100%) develop a romantic relationship with him soon, but things are moving a lot slower in comparison to his first relationship and it feels like the author is intentionally making the MC dense despite several instances of emotional fluctuations shown from this woman, nor does it seem that he intends on making any move on her, at least not yet. Can't complain too much about that aspect however as its a relief that the MC isn't just collecting women randomly at an unreasonable pace just for the sake of it.

Anyhow, do give this a read, Well worth it, just unfortunate that the updates seem a bit slow. That’s just me being greedy for more chapters though.
