was an interesting take, some characters just stopped being mentioned and the ending felt like the author didn't really know where to continue taking the storyline and ended it abruptly. overall not bad for a honghuang novel — i've seen worse — tho i think it could have been so much better

It was good but the author's way of writing is starting to piss me off. Something happens and the author wants to take the next few paragraphs to the entire chapter to talk about exposition, history, sidetrack into a flashback, etc. It's supremely annoying having to read a good premise but be forced to read through information that shouldn't matter in the moment.

10/10 probably one of the best HongHuang novels out there. Cyberspace talked about wrong representation, however, that's just the author creating new rules. They know it's not "correct", it's just for the story so the MC created those rules.

Tbh, i was really liking the novel, however, chapter 96 is extremely cringe. MC has access to Earth and with a Chinese author you can probably guess how such a plot point will be written. I'll drop here, it was too much for me and i don't expect it to get better.

it's fine if u turn off your brain. It also includes information that's sometimes not touched upon in Honghuang novels, though not that important. good enough to pass the time, nothing revolutionary or truly new. does have a few lines of chinese propaganda (one country two systems). Easy enough to brush past but some people won't want to read it either way.

Really good and unique take on Honghuang. Cyberspace's review complains about not doing anything for 3 Yuanhui but a common theme in Honghuang novels is that time is worthless when born early. MC doesn't have amazing talent, a system, his knowledge of future events only goes so far as the overarching main points. Most of the details are different or lost to him. I'm going to stack chapters from here, I'm only worried about Wukong's portion because authors like to put way too much focus and almost change the novel completely when he's born. highly recommend.
