A novel with a few not so likable points yet has something for me to keep reading so far (610+)....

Pretty good novel. Bit different from generic apocalypse novels with zombies, mutant beasts and super powers. So far(301), it only focuses on various disasters and shelter building, no personal power ups yet. As for system, It kinda got "sidelined" very early but not forgotten, just it operates on the background with mentions on important occasions. Don't expect any female "lead" character(s), just treat them like random characters. Well as author himself mentioned they exist just because it doesn't make sense for a powerful person like mc to not have any women around him so that's why they exist and treated in the story. No unnecessary grand introduction describing beauties then forgetting them altogether to disappoint readers. Overall I haven't found any major flaws, logic less progression, trademark "nationalism" or some thing in the novel where you have to tolerate it. Finally even though i would like to see more of system and improved writing levels at places (still well above standard) it still is one of very rare (nowadays after reading my fair bit) novels where i can just enjoy reading without having to tolerate something in the novel. It gets a well deserved 5/5 just for that.
