Chen Mang traveled to a doomsday world, where corpse tides could be seen everywhere, and death was everywhere.

Survivors need to become train conductors, and gradually upgrade and strengthen their own trains by collecting minerals and other resources, so as to control the train to survive the tide of corpses.

Or become a slave to other train conductors and live under someone else's roof.

All trains have a level limit, and the effect will become stronger every time they upgrade.

However, his natural birthmark gives him the ability to upgrade vehicle accessories without limit.

When several white vehicle accessories such as "car blades" and "drills" that were looked down upon by other train commanders were raised to hundreds of levels.

Only then did I realize that I was already invincible in the world.

So far—

A giant train with hundreds of cars armed to teeth began to roar in the wilderness of the doomsday.

"There are only two kinds of people in this world."

"Train conductor or slave."

Usually I leave reviews only after i caught up to release or finished, But i decided to leave one for this after reading only 57 chapters... I really like the cultivation novels and that is what got me into this web novel circle, But regrettably I was finding myself struggling to come across any interesting new cultivation novels in recent years. Even if some are decent, after reading a fair bit of old cultivation novels it is getting increasingly difficult to get into any new cultivation novels just because of the uncanny similarity they share with some of the most popular works(Cultivation system,World building,Plot progression and writing style. Similar Vibe with lack of creativity). About this novel, Well there was nothing really attractive at first glace, But somehow it was quiet easy to get into (May be a relatively good writing style). What made me to take a moment to write this review is the little tweaks that the author made to the already familiar settings, They were surprisingly good and unexpected. This one gives me the similar feeling of Awe I had when I read my first few cultivation novels. Nothing groundbreakingly new but little tweaks that made this story feel new. A welcome breath of fresh air. and I believe this is the right direction for new novels, After a first few novels in any genre you have to tweak something otherwise it is hard to read even though it might not be any worse than the first few...

Dropped... This was actually a good read for me in the first 300 or so chapters, But for the next 500-600 chapters plot was dragging and bland. I really liked the idea of civilization reincarnation thing and wanted more focus on related things but unfortunately story remained similar to other game novels in plot progression. With such an interesting idea, I expected a much better world building. Nationalism was not too much in the early stage but after that there were quiet a bit. Not to the level of brainless nationalism that is everywhere but still I felt it was unnecessary in many places.(more like pure fan service to local audience) Nationalism was ignorable for me but the whole Great xia thing was not. MC didn't want to create a guild and carry burdens but proceeds to carry the burden of whole 'Great xia' . First it was about MC asking official to find advanced bosses for him but now it was all about official calling him whenever they encounter any difficulties or even Chinese guilds in overseas encountering attacks from local guilds and MC runs allover to help them. Once or twice is okay but now whole 500 chapters is all about this with not much progress in the plot. There are many things I didn't like related to interaction with officials. Then about Mounts/Pets, they contributed nothing to the story so far and it felt more like a word padding tool to me. Story line is not really bad, but writing is well below average, especially after 300 or so chapters, it was repetitive(writing style and story), dragging, bland and too much word padding and is the reason for me to drop this novel. Dropped at 820+ chapters because I couldn't really read anything seriously in the last few hundred chapters and it was all about skimming.

it's been a long while since i read this, as far as i remember it was a good read, not the best but still good. My strongest impression of this novel is the ending, because it is my most favourite ending among all web novels that i have read. In most novels, no matter how strong or genius MC is, final fight will always gives the 'fight to death' vibe, some even having someone else sacrificing something or even themself, but here MC remained OP in the end and final boss was defeated effortlessly. I like this ending because after all the struggle through the story MC having to fight to death at the end always seemed a bit anti-climatic to me. The ending alone is enough for me to give 5/5.

This is a top-tier brainless novel. For me, the one aspect that made this novel a top-tier one among brainless novel is, the logical guideline of overall plot progression. Even though it is a rough guideline it made the story much more readable without any abrupt turns in the plot direction. But that is ultimately the only standout good thing here. Just like other brainless novels basic story is pretty much light-hearted and enjoyable to read. Now about plot itself, author failed to apply any reasonable logic guidelines this time so, even though plot progression has a guideline plot itself is no different from other brainless novels and tested my tolerance limit repeatedly. Writing style also failed to salvage anything and remains similar to other brainless novels with quiet a lot of unnecessary word padding. Out of 1700 chapters so far 4 templates regarding Territory-level/Kingdom-level/Strength-level advancement and war summaries alone takes up around 300 or more chapters, which i had to skim through or skip at times. Let me just say one thing that i found really hard to tolerate in this novel is MC's generosity, whether someone asked him for or even in transactions he always paid 100/1000 times more and felt proud about it, i don't mind him doing it with low grade things or when situation demands but even with most advanced level treasures at that time where others are struggling to have 1 he gives away tens of thousands and he does that that every single time, there is no concept of reasonable equivalent transaction which i felt is above any logic and reasons and it brings down the overall quality of the novel. There is no beauty collection harem here, which is not considered good or bad for me in a brainless novel, but considering most of other brainless novels does have it, it is a welcome change for me.

It's been a while since dropped this novel and i had read up to 1000 or so chapters at that time. i was interested in the initial setting of dimensional rift. Beginning was just standard and dimensional rift parts were also decent to good but, soon after story took a sudden turn for no reason and started to develop in a direction quiet similar to swallowed star and it kept giving SS vibe even up to the point where i dropped. I like SS and there is no problem with a similar vibe but, here author followed SS like progression yet decided to stretch it 2x or even 3x. Adding more is no problem if it improves the plot but, author just focused on stretching unimportant parts, for example MC stopped by in a location during his travel and met some random side characters and moved on is something quiet normal in novels but, here author stretched this 1 chapter thing to dozens of chapters by adding a whole bunch of event at that stop point but, that whole event ultimately added nothing to the overall plot. In the end it was all about adding a bunch of nonsense into the story of SS. This one offers nothing new and it was more like a fan-fic that decided add more details into SS yet instead of improving the story messed up the pacing to an unreadable level. If you want to read it you better read SS again. Apart from all this writing is okay and if you haven't read SS and fine with slow pace then this is quiet good. Because i ultimately dropped because of its similarity to SS if the story was original i might have continued to read it despite its flaws.

Average/Decent novel. It has acceptable logic and reasoning. major flaw here is the pacing, which is really slow and author also goes a bit too much into details. Writing is also a bit below average mainly because i felt many scenes had unnecessarily detailed writing and some similar scenes felt like template writing, writing style seemed more repetitive than scene itself, which is quiet rare in my experience. Also things happen quickly, like before one thing is concluded another comes along, but considering the slow writing style i would rather author conclude things before moving on, not a major flaw still ruins the pacing for me. Overall, the novel managed to avoid rather brainless plot development and major plot holes, so i was able to overlook other minor flaws and read it.

This novel contains a lot of world missions type adventures and author focuses heavily on it. Every world mission is written seriously with a detailed and logical plot progression which made them a fairly good story on their own and author also managed to integrate MC's strength progress into it quiet well instead of just level increase and new equipment at the end. For people who like this kind of stories with major focus on mission type adventure this is a very good novel. In my opinion pacing of the novel is slow, author's effort to write a very detailed mission worlds led to them lasting too long which made current world portions feel too short, and the overall world building is quiet lacking, i mean mission worlds aside the story should have an overarching world building and plot progression which is lacking. considering 400+ chapters if you strip out missions everything else doesn't give a sense of progression. Balancing is the major issue for me here, but story is well written so far and excels in mission worlds which is the main focus, and even what is written so far in current portions is quiet alright in logic and reason just that could have focused a bit more in this aspect. Overall, story is decent to good but ultimately lacks standout moments. I skimmed through very few chapters in some world missions and was able to read the rest normally. 3.5/5 -0.5 for lack of moments.

I just skimmed through and even skipped many chapters but continued until I caught up to daily release. The biggest problem is the pacing. The abyss games are fine I even enjoyed the first one especially the twist at the end but after a 20-30 chapter abyss game there is not much development in reality and another game begins. Author struggles heavily in reality portion and balancing it out with abyss games. More than 90% of the novel is focused on abyss games and most of them last 20-30 or more chapters which feels too long for me especially considering there is not enough development in reality portion to balance it out, it felt like speed running one abyss game after another without a breather. If you like game quest type missions then you might like it. For others it depends on whether you are okay with this kind of pacing. Overall it was fine, I'll let it stack and check it out later. I absolutely can't read it on daily basis.

Decided to drop it.... I knew what I was getting into, survival + cheat type system made it clear and novel was also decent enough to keep reading. I read up to somewhere around 550+ when new hunting ground began and I didn't really like its setting, so i decided to stack. When I noticed novel had 200+ more chapters I decided to check it out again thinking that arc should have been over by now(considering the previous mission duration) but I am very disappointed when I saw that single mission going on for over 200+ chapters. I really don't know whether it was good or not but now, I don't even want to know. I can't continue reading with such slow pacing. Unless it is a very serious novel with rigorous logic and world building slow pace is unbearable to me especially for novels with this kind of theme (apocalypse, survival) fast pacing is really important.

I really like the whole idea of this story as well as its setting, and it has the potential to be among the top tier novels. In reality it is just a good novel, thanks to its setting. All because the writing is very standard, which might look good on regular stories, but here standard / safe bet writing is clearly not enough. Overall, it's an excellent story line that got dragged down(definitely not ruined) because of author's limited writing skill. While there is no big let downs in the story, it also fails to bring any surprises or welcomed twists, Mostly logic and reasons were acceptable, but again this story demanded more than just acceptable. I really really don't like the way the relationship between MC and the big family was handled(again, it also has basic reason and logic still, personally i just couldn't like anything about it) Potential of the story is neither wasted nor fully utilized. Still worth reading.
