Read 882Ch. #823
The story has a solid concept and the execution is average overall. One major drawback is the heavy emphasis on nationalism — there's an excessive amount of hostility toward Japan and a recurring theme of other countries being antagonistic toward China. If you're able to overlook or tolerate that, the story can still be an okay read. The MC and supporting cast are decent, though everyone seems unrealistically against the MC. It doesn’t have that gripping, can’t-stop-reading quality, but it’s good enough to keep going if you're looking for something to pass the time.

I read this webnovel quite a while back. It's an okay read if you're into the inner voice genre. The humor and pacing are decent for passing time without needing to think too hard. It also had a manhua adaptation, but it was mostly AI-generated art and only covered about 100 chapters of the webnovel. Not much depth, but it works if you're in the mood for something light and typical of the genre. *Spoiler alert:* Later on, the MC leaves Earth and heads to a cultivation world — I dropped it a bit before that point.

The story has a good concept and is executed well overall. However, there are a bit too many misunderstandings, which can get tiring after a while. The dream wives have some character depth, but not much — they're just okay. One issue is how the author tends to make the MC pity certain women just so they can be added to his harem, which feels a bit forced due to the lack of emotional buildup. That said, the plot and characters are solid. The MC is overpowered, which is good, though more than half of his techniques/abilities are "evil" so he has to hide them. Despite a few flaws, the progression and world-building keep things interesting.

At the end of Vol 6 (Ch: 778), the author mentioned that due to various reasons, they’re unable to continue writing, so the story ends here. It’s essentially on indefinite hiatus and can be considered a half-finished or incomplete work.
