Don’t waste your time. It started off good, but then the cliché kicked in—the demon girl falls out of the sky and into the MC’s hands, followed by the righteous path girl who randomly gets curious and approaches him. And just like that, the entire story revolves around women. They keep adding more and more female characters, and it’s both irritating and boring. There’s no depth to it.
I don’t get why authors think that just throwing in a bunch of women makes a novel better. If you’re going to add female characters, at least balance them and integrate them properly into the MC’s life. First, he talks about whether he should kill or avoid interfering in others’ problems, right? But then he suddenly starts intervening and saving people—who all just happen to be women. Instead of killing the demon cultivator like he should, he conveniently saves her, and then another girl just waltzes in and becomes his doormat.
This is trash, plain and simple. The worst part is how the author exaggerates their looks, making them all these petite, delicate beauties. It’s ridiculous. Then, on top of that, he inflates their strength and status just so they can stick around the MC. You can literally see the harem forming, and I have no interest in wasting time on yet another cliché novel where, by the end, he’ll probably have a hundred girls.
What’s even more annoying is how the MC contradicts himself. He claims he won’t interfere in others’ lives, that he wants to stay secluded and avoid problems—but then he’s out here saving every petite little girl just to add them to his harem. The author completely ruined what could’ve been a great novel by stuffing it with pointless female characters. There’s no reason to add this many women. A couple? Fine. But when everything revolves around them, it’s just plain stupid.
