Read 395Ch. #396
i think this story is pretty okay. it doesn't take too long on the stocking up section, and the dramatics and fighting to survive happens soon enough. the MC is cold blooded and she's a little lunatic, but I feel like it's not out of place for someone described as a "weak" woman living 10 years in the apocalypse with no superpowers. the system is OP but I feel like it's just OP so we don't spend tons of time watching her grow the base to an unbelievable level. I took off a star because sometimes the story gets a little annoying. like when someone threatens the MC/she's in a dangerous situation and it takes several chapters for the MC to burst out with her op strength and get rid of the problem immediately. I get that she's low-key and all, but when you have guns in your space is there a reason to not shoot first and ask questions later? do you need to wait for people to be eaten in front of you before you burst out and kill all zombies in a radius? other than that I think it's fine. I don't see a CP forming with anyone but I see the author teasing different options.

this is not a serious cultivation story. it's more focused on humour than epic fights or making fortunes in silence. the MC transmigrated into a book that wasn't written well, had plot holes, and had a white lotus FMC getting all her opportunities from men while acting pitiful and sweet. the MC of the story we're reading is quite the opposite - strong willed, independent, and a little ridiculous. the whole sect is super wealthy and powerful, and instead of hiding it and being cautious, they use that wealth to flaunt their influence. it's certainly supposed to be a humourous story, but I can see why the humour wouldn't work. I think it's funny ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

chill vibes, methodical, happy farming story

the story is quite good. calm, methodical cultivation story. no intrigues, no fights. the author updates half a chapter sometimes and the site that's pulling it doesn't check back later for the full chapters, so sometimes there's a whole half of a chapter missing. if you don't mind playing guessing games about what happened, you can read this.

so this story is really very good. the world view is well thought out. the MC is OP but doesn't seem to stop being human because of it. characters he interacts with all seem to be normal too. it isn't a harem, but I can see the author planting seeds of a romantic interest. the problem is the site the raws are coming from seem to have been messed up. and I don't think it's the tkwan site's fault. if you put the Chinese title into Google and look for raws on any site they're all messed up or missing chunks. 1 site got it wrong and everyone copied the wrong thing. which sucks!!! the story is really very good. the stars are for the story. don't read this, you'll be disappointed like me when you can't finish it.

this is a very standard power fantasy novel. nothing can threaten or phase the protagonist. he has infinite money, infinite resources, infinite 100% loyal subordinates... he even fished out a super luxury villa. the apocalypse has no meaning for him. as of chapter 70, he hasn't met any person he's willing to talk to or interact with. all women are either brainless or horny for the MC, sometimes both. it has the standard worldwide apocalypse nationalism and racism in it. I wouldn't say it's shit deserving a 1 star review but it's certainly not a masterpiece. if you're bored and have literally nothing else to read you can read this.

pure female protagonist wish fulfillment story. the plot makes sense, characters aren't annoying, the harem is cute. the author is also very cute, openly scolding everyone who's annoying them in the comments. I support the author unconditionally.

I really liked this one! the protagonist is pragmatic and willful, the side characters are lively and fun to witness, the plot was interesting and I loved every second of the shenanigans that happened. I genuinely don't have anything bad to say about this one. being only 95 chapters looks like it's short, but it's well thought out and well written. nothing is missing and I never felt like the author was padding the work to fill space.

I think it's fine. the cheat isn't overly op. he just has a head start over others, it's not like he's speed running things. the system isn't a personal system; it's a world crossing genre with everyone having the same system. I don't think it's a problem for everyone on the world channel to be Chinese. would you prefer the usual nationalism and racism in these stories? the hamfisted attempts to showcase that even in a place where country pride makes NO sense, Chinese people will band together at all costs? personally I think it's great. don't worry about where the rest of the earthlings went. enjoy the peace. no "government" nonsense either.

don't read this while eating. I think it's fine. the MC is indeed a little... idk, maybe constant sanity loss and rebounding breaks a person in a way we can't see. most characters are a little nuts in this. but this is supposed to be lovecraftian, so sanity is a luxury even for readers.
