Prologue – The Birth of a Homebody

A college graduate, unable to find a job for three years, had to take the postgraduate entrance exam. After another three years of unemployment following his master's degree, he was forced to pursue a doctorate. Under the relentless pressure of classmates who jumped to their deaths every year because they couldn't graduate with their doctorates, this unfortunate, PhD-level nerdy guy finally endured the final stage of his academic life. Just as he was about to land his first lucrative job, he was abducted by aliens for human experimentation. But that wasn't the worst of it. Even worse, after being ruined by the aliens, he was abandoned on a planet with an unknown environment… Prologue – The Birth of a Nerdy Guy "Ten thousand miles of wind and smoke rise, gathering into banners to slay the black dragon." Luo Yanqi is my name, but its meaning is definitely not as elegant as this poem my father wrote. My father was a heavy smoker, always puffing away. The first half of the poem, "Ten thousand miles of wind and smoke," is purely a figment of his imagination. The second half of the sentence refers to a dog older than me. My father liked to take a deep drag of smoke and then blow it into the dog's nose, amusing himself by watching the dog struggle. The dog died when I was five. Despite my mother's strict prohibition, I ended up being the one blown into the dog's nose, which is why I absolutely hate smoking, especially secondhand smoke. In middle school, I gradually developed a dislike for men who smoke, and by high school, I hated men altogether. Unfortunately, as a human whose gender symbol is upward-pointing, I'm not very attractive to women, which means I have practically no friends. Besides finding solace in novels, comics, and games, I'm seen as a very eccentric person by others. People like me have an unflattering nickname from the Land of the Rising Sun—a shut-in!

一个大学毕业，三年没找到工作不得不去考研，硕士毕业又是三年没有找到工作，不得不去考博士，在每年都有没法博士毕业而跳楼的同学，这样的残酷精神压力下，终于熬过了人生最后一段学习生涯，倒霉的博士级宅男，在即将获得人生第一份优渥工作的时候，被外星人抓去做人体研究，但是这还不是更倒霉的，更倒霉的是他被外星人玩废了之后，抛弃在一个环境不明的星球上……楔子——宅男的诞生“万里风罗云烟起，聚为旌旗斩黑龙１罗烟旗是我的名字，但是它的含义绝对不象这首我父亲做的诗一样风雅。父亲大人是个烟鬼，最喜欢喷云吐雾，上半句的万里风罗云云纯是虚指，下半句的黑龙是一条岁数比我还大的狗，父亲喜欢饱吸一口浓烟，然后喷到黑龙的鼻子上，看它挣扎的丑态取乐。我五岁的时候，黑龙就死掉了，尽管母亲大人明令禁止，但是代替黑龙被喷的角色，还是轮到了我的头上，所以我非常的讨厌吸烟，尤其是吸二手烟。初中的时候，我渐渐发展到了讨厌吸烟的男人，上了高中，干脆变成了讨厌男人。很不幸的，作为一个性别符号是箭头向上的人类，我对女性的吸引力大大不足，这就导致了我基本上没有朋友。除了在小说，漫画，游戏中寻找安慰，在别人的眼里我是非常怪癖的人，我这种人有个从日出之国流传来的不雅绰号——宅男！
