Dust and Fate

A piece of blue stone by the Milky Way in the celestial realm, after hearing a patrolling immortal recite nine volumes of celestial scripture, was able to shed its stone body and cultivate into an immortal embryo. The blue stone, which had just transformed into human form, inadvertently released a celestial demon and was punished by being banished to the mortal world. The patrolling immortal was also expelled from the ranks of immortals as a result. Before falling into the cycle of reincarnation, the two made a pact to be together for a hundred lifetimes.
