The shattered Three Emperors' League is powerless to stop the rise of the Third Empire. The bloody butcher of Paris is destroying the order of the European continent. The dreadful French demon seeks to restore the glory of the past. After nearly a century of silence, the great heroic spirits respond to France's call, returning to Paris and gathering beneath the Arc de Triomphe. By 1870, Paris is on the brink of collapse. A man of modest stature stands before the gates of the Palace of Versailles. His face is identical to that of the emperor of the First Empire, and he calmly gazes at the unstoppable army before him.
