The Court of Sword-treading

This is an era where legends have faded: the old Dragon King in the north turns over and the earth trembles; the peacocks in the west, nestled among the green leaves, are too lazy to move; two old sword-wielding men, with no grudge against each other, fight to the death; and a poor, weary scholar throws aside his books, suddenly draws his sword, and shatters half the land. This is also an era where legends are reborn: stunningly beautiful girls don't yet know how to dress; generals who sweep the land are still stealing sheep; not to mention the still-growing eccentric scholars, heretics, and strange monks; a callow youth picks up a purple robe and wants to declare himself emperor, only to be stabbed through the heart by an even younger child. That younger child says: "The stage is set, all the roles are played, a bizarre and wonderful panorama of humanity, but I am the protagonist of this play, destined for greatness. What can I do? I, a swordsman, am destined to be stronger than everyone else!"
